TEFL Update

Hey y'all. Sorry I've been super MIA these past few weeks but let me tell you, it's been super busy around here.

Weddings, graduations, driving exams, shopping, cleaning the house, getting sick, Mohammad Assaf winning Arab Idol, learning Arabic AND Tefl training.....I just can't seem to find the pause button for life.


It is now officially week 4 in my 8 week TEFL program. I absolutely love the program but I wish I had more energy during the day. I constantly remind myself to enjoy the course and take advantage of every opportunity before it's over. It's all going by so quickly.

This week I have to prepare a mini 20 min lesson on any topic I choose. The focus is listening and speaking so please let me know in the comment section below if you have any ideas on what I should teach. Last time I introduced the American culture of garage sales but I wasn't too excited about the topic. The students seemed interested enough. :) aH
