20 to go!

OOOOOkay. Let's begin.

New year's resolution? Try to remember moments and memories clearer. That's it. Oh yeah. And lose all the weight I packed on during my college years. fun.


It's essentially a 6 week program designed to help you drop a couple sizes. I have a goal in mind (about 20lbs) but honestly, anything will be good. My bigger goal is to somehow get in the habit of exercising around 5 times a week.

This was week one. Today is day 7. Tomorrow I check if I gained or lost anything. I feel amazing, eating a lot of healthy stuff. Except I got really sick and a nasty cough so I kinda slacked this week. Not unhealthy foods, really, just eating them out of order and portion size. Also, exercise would have killed me so this week was no. just NO.

I will be checking back here every week to let you know how it works for me. I'm really excited already mainly cuz I can exercise today. I'm thinking elliptical? Soon inshAllah I will go to the park to exercise.

For now, see y'all later. I have some new and exciting things coming out, projects about Syria inshAllah. Look for those. :)

  1. Oh my! These are my goals too :D I started the 30 Day shred this week because it's snowed too much to go anywhere and gyms are EXPENSIVE here. However my sleep schedule is really messed up which messed up my meal times and I feel sick if I exercise cause I'm not eating enough. So I'm going to try to wake up early tomorrow and try to fix my sleeping. Anyway, good luck with your program!! :D

    1. This is so bizarre! I STARTED THE 6 WEEK SHRED PROGRAM haha! What are the odds?! :p Let me know how you like it. I got sick last week so absolutely nooooo exercise and I had to cheat on food to get better.....and I still lost half a pound! :))) I'm a happy camper.

    2. Whoa! That is so crazy :O It was going great for the week I did it and lost like an inch off my waist but I have a problem with eating enough since I wake up really late so I felt really sick the last few days. I was only getting like 700 calories a day :/ I'm trying to wake up earlier to put in a third meal and I'm going to see how I feel today.
      I hope you feel better though! It's wonderful you still saw some results ^^
