Halfway weight loss goal: Success!

All I can say right now is: Alf Alhamdulilah.

I cannot tell you how much work it is to lose weight. You have to sacrifice a LOT and you need to change all of your habits. It's not easy. Not as easy as, for example, eating and gaining weight. But, now that I have gone down and I'm halfway to my goal weight, I'm determined to never let myself go. I can't cheat my body. I need to eat nutritious and healthy things, treat it well, exercise, all that jazz.

It's been a wonderful 6 weeks with SHRED. I have more to go (which is why I'm starting the cycle again from week 3) but I remember how far I've come.

Through the 6 weeks, the best feeling is when you tell yourself not to eat something you know is bad for you, and then YOU DON'T EAT IT. It's like a mini celebration in your head-- a party for strong willpower.

What't the point of this post? If you're trying to lose weight, remember it takes 30 tries to make a habit stick and to make that habit stick, you gotta stick with it for 21 days. It's hard. Keep at it and inshAllah things will work out.
If you have any questions on how this program works, or if you have any weight loss advice, share it below! :D
