Snail Mail

For the longest time this phrase confused me: what the heck is "snail mail"?! If you are like I was, let me enlighten you. Snail mail is the fancy word for normal mail that is sent through a post office and takes a long time to get to the other person....as opposed to email. Yes, snail mail just means old fashioned sending and receiving letters.

Well today I received a package from my good friend Bri who also runs a blog (click to here to read about her adventures in Korea). This is what she sent me:
This is my new Korean notebook. I've been meaning to buy one but I guess there's a reason I couldn't find the right one. ;)
It came with a lovely letter that brightened my day and a cute mirror that will prove very useful.

Inside the notebook I find a cute sticker set that  makes me smile and an awesome B.A.P matoki necklace.
I love it all.

There's something wonderful about snail mail. It's these little surprises that can make a huge difference. Today, I had some sad news come my way but subhanallah this package shed some sunshine where there wasn't any. Alhamdulilah for everything.

I will take the notebook as a sign to take my studies more seriously. But like that panda says on the back: 일등도 쉬어야지....Even first place needs to rest. ;)

  1. I'm an idiot, I commented on some stuff but didn't click on the right thing ^^;; Anyway, I'm glad you like it :D I think it's great that the timing was good. I think it's wonderful to know that God cares even in little things like our feelings. Also thank you for the other post. There is so much wrong information about Islam.
