You should try fasting one day to appreciate the worth of the blessings around you: food, water, shelter, family, friends. Then you could tell people you've tried fasting once in your lifetime. I highly recommend it. ^_^ I love Ramadan!
Yesterday we went to SeaWorld. As we were driving up to pay for our parking ticket, the ticket person was a Muslim hijabee. :D We said Salamu Aliakum, greeted and spoke in Arabic. She let us in without paying (they can let a certain number of cars in for free per month) and we drove right ahead. I was so touched by her gesture that I saw the hope being restored in the world. I seriously appreciate her gesture with all my heart. I was going to jump out of the car and run to hug her. ^-^ Alf Alhamdulilah.
I will take every chance I have to pay it forward and do something nice and unexpected for another stranger, inshAllah.
If you see a Muslim this next month, tell them Ramadan Kareem! They'll be excited and joyful to hear that you can wish them a blessed Ramadan in Arabic! :))))))
Have a happy and blessed Ramadan!
I hope you have a great Ramadan! It sounds amazing ^^
